Affiliate / Affiliate Marketer - One who promotes the products or services of another for a commission.

Affiliate Manager - A person employed by a either a company or an affiliate network that manages an affiliate program. This person is usually responsible for providing the necessary resources to the affiliate such as ad copy and banner ads.

Affiliate Network - A company that serves as a middleman between the company provide products and services for sales and it affiliate marketers.

Clickbank - One of the largest affiliate networks handling the sales of digital products.

Cookie
- A small snippet of text based code that identifies an affiliate marketer as the generator of a sale.

Cost Per Action (CPA)
- A payment method used to pay affiliates based on certain activity such as filling out an online form.

Tracking URL
- An encoded web site link containing an affiliate identification code.
